Quatuor belge décomplexé, pratiquant un rock indé aux frontières du post, traçant des lignes diffuses mais angulaires entre Papier Tigre, Unwound, le Sonic Youth inspiré de "Washing Machine" ou Berg Sans Nipple, Guernica étonne par sa singularité et son indépendance revendiquée. Entre lignes de guitares sinueuses, basse aérienne et batterie polyrythmique, le groupe enivre sans effort, en soutenant un mystère revigorant et un sens de l'humour oblique.
Leur mini LP (ou maxi EP, à l'avenant) « Who are your songs for? » est d'abord sorti en Belgique sur le label Vlas Vegas avant de s'offirir une sortie française chez Greed Recordings le 10 Septembre 2008. Entre temps le groupe a enchainé les concerts comme des perles, jouant notamment aux côtés de The Microphones/Mount Eerie, Tapes'n Tapes, David Pajo, Amusement Parks on Fire, P:ano ou encore Papier Tigre.
